The community pays the bill.
The business gets paid. Directly.
When a bill is too big for one person, family and friends pay it together. The money goes to the verified business, never to an individual.
Built on trust and transparency: verified businesses, confirmed invoices, and every number in the open.
1
A real invoice
Every page is tied to one invoice from a verified business. Collection stops when it is covered.
2
Direct payments
Every contribution goes into the business's own account. VeriGiving never holds a dollar.
3
Everything in the open
Everyone sees what was owed, what was paid, who was paid, and when the bill is settled.

For payment and compliance reviewers
Money moves from a contributor's card to a verified business's own account, against one confirmed invoice. Nothing else.
The entity
13270122 Canada Inc., operating as VeriGiving. FINTRAC registered money services business, number N300001769, crowdfunding platform services, registered September 2026. Written compliance program, named compliance officer, records kept five years.
How the money moves
Each business is paid into its own merchant account. A contribution is a card payment to that account against one invoice the business has confirmed. Collection stops at the invoice total; a payment that would go over it is refused. VeriGiving takes a 1.5% fee per payment and never holds, receives, or transmits funds. Money can never go to an individual.
Who can be paid
Canadian businesses only, verified by a person before they can be paid: registration, licence where the trade is licensed, directors and owners of 25% or more, sanctions screening. Refunds are issued only by the business; a reduced or cancelled invoice refunds contributors pro rata.
Who pays
Name and email on every contribution; card country, fingerprint, and risk score recorded; repeat cards and people flagged for review. Identity verified before the card step at $1,000 or more within 24 hours. Contributions are payments, not pledges. No rewards, equity, or returns.
One case, start to finish
A funeral home in Ontario confirms a family's invoice of $8,500 and starts a page. The family shares one link. Thirty four relatives, friends, and colleagues pay by card, and each payment lands in the funeral home's own account the moment it is made, with the funeral home's name on the receipt. At $8,500 the page closes and the family owes nothing further on that invoice. If plans change, the funeral home lowers or cancels the invoice and contributors are refunded.
